We love the hot weather and want it to be a vacation for the whole family not just the kids. Need some R&R with my husband too, which is why we love cruises, but can’t a find a new place to cruise. Need to watch for weather/rainy seasons etc…

If you’re American and used to holidaying in the Caribbean then perhaps a Mediterranean Cruise (http://www.medcruise.com/page.asp?p=1516&l=1) is the answer to give you a change. The cruise ship will have a variety of activities for the family, the weather will be scorching in August and you’ll visit countries you might not have seen before.

We are thinking of our this summers vacation and I desperately need ideas of where to go. My brother is 11, I’m thirteen. Our dad doesnt like cruises and big cities (new york). we love camping though! So please give a few ideas of different places we could go. Thanks! ~hmanne817

Was the greatest vacation! (yet)

there are a lot of restrictions though. Can’t be a cruise. Has to be east coast because we can’t fly. And itsfor about 25 people

What if it were Las Vegas or Hawaii?? Is it a good idea? Is it a dangerous idea to go on a vacation or cruise alone? On my birthday I won’t have any family members or friends available at that time to go with me.

Do not go to Vegas alone. Speaking as a guy, & as a guy with a background in law enforcement, I can tell you that is a BAD idea. Period.

Why don’t you just wait until your friends or family can go with you? It’s not nearly as much fun to travel alone when you have no one to share all the cool stuff you can do.

My advice, both practically & personally, is to wait until you can travel with someone you’ll enjoy being with - whether it’s ON your birthday or not.
